You just signed up for TraderDynamiq. You’ve got 14 days of free Pro access. Now what?

This guide walks you through everything from your first login to your first behavioral verdict — in about 30 minutes. By the end, you’ll have your trade history imported, your biggest leaks identified, and your first trading rule set up.

Step 1: Create Your Account (2 minutes)

Go to traderdynamiq.com/register and create your account. You’ll need:

  • An email address
  • A password

That’s it. No credit card required. No broker connection needed upfront. Your 14-day Pro trial starts immediately with full access to every feature.

After registering, verify your email by clicking the link we send you. Then log in.

Step 2: Create Your Trading Account (1 minute)

Once logged in, go to Settings in the sidebar. Click Add Account.

Choose your exchange and account type:
- Exchange: Binance, Bybit, OKX, or any supported platform
- Account type: Futures, Spot, Forex, Stocks, Options
- Base currency: USD (default)
- Timezone: Your trading timezone (UTC is fine for crypto)

This account represents your broker/exchange account. You can add multiple accounts if you trade on different platforms.

Step 3: Import Your Trade History (5 minutes)

Go to Imports in the sidebar. You have two options:

Option A: CSV Upload (Works with Binance, Bybit and TradingView)

  1. Export your trade history from your broker as a CSV file
  2. Click Upload CSV in TraderDynamiq
  3. Drop your file or click to browse
  4. TraderDynamiq auto-detects your broker format — you don’t need to select it manually
  5. Click Import

The system will show you:
- How many trades were found
- Which broker format was detected
- Any rows that couldn’t be parsed (with reasons)

Pro tip: Start with your most recent 30-90 days of trading. You can always import older history later. The behavioral analysis is most actionable on recent data.

Option B: API Sync (Real-time for supported exchanges)

For Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, Kraken, and other supported exchanges:

  1. Go to Settings → API Keys
  2. Enter your read-only API key and secret
  3. Click Connect
  4. TraderDynamiq will sync your trade history automatically

Important: Only use read-only API keys. TraderDynamiq never needs — and should never have — trading or withdrawal permissions.

What Gets Imported

Every trade becomes a normalized record with:
- Open and close timestamps
- Symbol and direction (LONG/SHORT)
- Entry and exit prices
- Realized P&L
- Fees and funding costs
- Leverage (if applicable)

Duplicates are automatically prevented. You can re-import safely without creating duplicate trades.

Step 4: Explore Your Dashboard (5 minutes)

Once your trades are imported, go to the Dashboard. This is your overview:

  • Net P&L — your overall profit or loss for the selected period
  • Equity curve — how your account value changed over time
  • Activity map — when you traded (time of day, day of week)
  • Top leaks — preview of your biggest behavioral issues
  • Top strengths — what you’re doing right

Use the period selector in the top bar to zoom in:
- 1D — today only
- 1W — last 7 days
- 1M — last 30 days
- 3M / 1Y / ALL — longer timeframes

The dashboard gives you the high-level picture. The detailed analysis lives in the other pages.

Step 5: Read Your Verdicts (10 minutes)

Go to Verdicts in the sidebar. This is the core of TraderDynamiq.

Leaks (What’s Costing You)

Leaks are ranked by dollar impact — the most expensive behavioral pattern is at the top. Each leak includes:

  • Impact: How much this pattern cost you in the selected period
  • Confidence: How sure the system is (high/medium/low)
  • Evidence: The actual trades that prove this pattern exists
  • Fix: Specific rules you can set to address it

Common leaks you might see:
- Revenge Trading: Trading clusters after losses with degraded quality
- Overtrading: Days where you traded beyond your optimal range
- Worst Hours: Specific times where your expectancy turns negative
- Fee Drag: Trading costs eating too much of your profits
- Symbol Traps: Instruments where you consistently lose

Strengths (What You’re Doing Right)

Just as important as leaks. Strengths show:
- Your best trading hours
- Your most profitable symbols
- Your strongest performance patterns

The goal: Double down on strengths, reduce leaks.

Step 6: Check Your Performance (5 minutes)

Go to Performance for detailed diagnostics:

  • Session analysis — morning vs afternoon vs evening performance
  • Hourly breakdown — P&L by hour of day
  • Symbol performance — which instruments are working
  • Direction analysis — long vs short performance
  • Metrics — 50+ performance metrics

This page answers “when and where do I trade best?”

Step 7: Set Your First Playbook Rule (3 minutes)

Go to Playbook in the sidebar. Based on what you learned from Verdicts and Performance, set your first rule.

Good first rules:

  1. Daily trade cap: “Maximum 20 trades per day” — prevents overtrading
  2. Time block: “No trading between 22:00 and 06:00” — blocks your worst hours
  3. Loss circuit breaker: “Stop trading after 3 consecutive losses” — prevents revenge trading

To create a rule:
1. Click Create Rule
2. Choose the rule type
3. Set your parameters
4. Activate it

TraderDynamiq will automatically check your trades against this rule and show you:
- Compliance percentage (how often you followed it)
- Violation frequency (how often you broke it)
- P&L impact of violations (how much breaking it cost you)

Step 8: Try the What-If Simulator (2 minutes)

Go to What-If in the sidebar. This is where you test hypotheticals:

  • “What if I removed my revenge trading clusters?”
  • “What if I stopped trading during my worst 3 hours?”
  • “What if I capped my daily trades at 15?”

Select a leak to remove, and the simulator recomputes your equity curve, net P&L, and drawdown as if those trades never happened.

This is often the most eye-opening moment for new users. Seeing the “you without your worst habit” equity curve next to your actual one makes the cost viscerally real.

FAQ

How long does the first analysis take?
Trade normalization happens in seconds. The full behavioral analysis (28+ detectors) runs in 1-5 minutes depending on how many trades you have.

What if my broker isn’t listed?
Try uploading your CSV anyway — the auto-detection engine works with many formats beyond the 35 officially listed. If it can’t detect your format, email [email protected] with a sample file.

Can I import from multiple brokers?
Yes. Create separate accounts for each broker, then import into each one. Your verdicts can analyze across accounts.

Is my data safe?
TraderDynamiq is read-only. We never have access to your exchange funds or trading capabilities. All API connections use read-only keys.
